| Analysis and Design |
Currently, four courses are offered in this area:
Systems Modelling Techniques (UML). The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is harnessed in this course to successfully document, explain and understand business requirements. Participants learn how UML is used to convert business requirements into design specifications that developers can code from directly. The course prepares participants for the ISEB Certificate in Modelling Techniques (UML). OCUP Preparation (UML): The OCUP Certification provides an important credential to present to employers and clients. It also benefits companies looking for skilled UML practitioners, by giving them a basis for making hiring and promotion decisions. Requirements Management: The course teaches the techniques, skills and methods needed to manage business requirements. This includes eliciting, documenting, analysing and validating requirements. Through real-life examples, exercises and workshops, the course develops these keys skills needed by Business Analysts. The course also provides an introduction to analysis modelling. Writing Effective Use Cases. Use Cases are one of the most effective ways of specifying business requirements. Through many practical examples, the course teaches how to write accurate, effective and testable Use Cases. The course is consistent with the IIBA BABOK v2 and may be used as preparation for the CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) examination. |
